"Vermelho Vivo" at the Museum of Image and Sound invites the public to experience images, poems and songs as a way of reflecting on the ideas of Freedom and Revolution at a time of urgency and future. The exhibition ignites the highest value of freedom, emphasising the strength of struggles and the vibrancy of revolution, covering a period of contemporary creation from the early 1970s to the present day. Artists and thinkers from the Luso-Afro-Brazilian geography respond to a changing world, reconfiguring the meanings of freedom and evoking its political value, while at the same time pointing to new meanings for existence.
